At our Furniture & White Goods Reuse Centre in Broomloan Rd, we collect, clean, prepare and display donated furniture ready for sale to the public and service users. Our aims are: To help reduce the furniture poverty for the most marginalised sections of society through the reuse of essential household furniture. Moreover, we aim to provide an attractive alternative to good useable furniture being sent to landfill. Help us Make Houses into Homes. To help support our service users we need a continuous supply of: Suites and Seating, Bedroom Furniture, and White goods such as Electric Cookers, Fridges & Washing machines.Donations
We provide a free furniture uplift service to households in Glasgow and surrounding areas. Most items of furniture are gratefully accepted and uplifted free of charge, provided that they are clean and in reasonable condition. However if they are not in reusable condition and you still want them removed we can do so but we will have to charge for the service.
Preparation
In general, we look to uplift Furniture & White Goods that are clean, tidy and fit for reuse. In addition, we ensure items are checked; cleaned and minor repair work carried out with White Goods function & electrically tested to ensure they are of a safe & acceptable standard prior to being made available for sale with a guarantee to provide additional peace of mind.
Display
Items are displayed in our showroom in our Reuse Centre in Ibrox, allowing customers a to browse in a well laid out environment. Everything is competitively priced but for referred service users we can offer further discounts.
