Donations:

We provide a free furniture uplift service to households in Glasgow. Most items of furniture are gratefully accepted, provided that they meet current fire regulations, are clean and in reasonable condition. Please see Donations Page.

Preparation;

In general, we look to uplift furniture that is clean, tidy and fit for reuse.  In addition, we ensure items are cleaned and minor repair work carried out to ensure they are of an acceptable standard prior to reuse. White goods are Portable Appliance Tested, to ensure that items are safe for reuse.

Display:

Items are displayed in our showroom, allowing customers and service users to browse in room setting displays. For service users we offer discounted furniture through on a referral basis, working closely with support groups, social work offices and resettlement agencies.  

The showoom is open to the public Monday to Thursday 9.00 - 4.30 and Friday 9.00 - 3.30

New Goods:

A selection of the main household items required to furnish a home is available as new.  This includes single and double divan beds, White goods, small electricals and bedding offered for sale at competative low cost prices.

By combining reused, recycled and new goods, customers & service users can create a furniture package, to suit their own tastes and limited budgets.

Delivery:

Furniture packages are delivered to the home, assembled and installed, ready for use.
