Second Opportunities provides a low cost Furniture Reuse Service aimed at helping the homeless and most disadvantaged progress into and sustain their tenancies. 

Our aims are: To relieve the poverty of the most marginalised sections of society through the Re-use of essential household furniture. Moreover, to provide an attractive alternative to perfectly good furniture currently being sent to landfill.

Help us Make Houses into Homes, to support our service users we need a continuous supply of the following: Lounge suites, beds, bedroom furniture, and white goods such as electric cookers, washing machines, fridges, etc.

We are a non profit making organisation and registered charity within Scotland.The charity was established in 1992, initially supporting families in the Castlemilk area but has since grown and relocated to our new base at Broomloan Road in Ibrox.

Our Furniture Re-use Service is funded through the Increase Programme and our own fund-raising.
